This is the summer trip to go on... July 29-31 we will spend a day at Six Flags and a day at White Water (rated top 10 in the nation for water parks). This trip will be the thrill of a lifetime. You need to be on this trip! Spots are limited, so get your registration and deposit in NOW! Deposit is $75 and the trip total is $160 and includes travel, lodging and admittance to the parks.
Make sure your middle and high school students are signed up for Camp Icon this year, June 21-25, in Marianna, Fl. Cost is $275 (Includes food, lodging, and charter bus). The early bird discount of $265 is due May 19. A discount for families with multiple children is available. You can register here.

Wednesday night we finished our Life Interrupted series, and we ended with a bang. To go along with the interrupted theme, we added a few different elements into our service which really captivated our students. Personally, I love using adult leaders, and other pastors on staff to speak life into our students. This week Liz Fulton shared her testimony and Pastor Ben Ragsdale shot a video challenging our students to worship deeper. We sandwiched this between the final two songs to add another dynamic, and our guys/girls really responded. The biggest change that was made was, blocking off the view of the band with white curtains. Which took the focus off of the band and the stage lights, then we added a cross to the center of the stage to help our students remember what worship is all about. At the end of the night we had 60 students receive Christ as their Lord and Savior. I don't care who you are or what you do, we all have to agree, that is amazing!

Welcome to the new site, we hope you love it. This site is to help you stay informed with what is happening with Icon Student Ministries. If you have students in Icon, or attend Icon, this site needs to be your best friend. This will be a great tool for you to use, so you can know the latest news on events, mission trips, camps, and more. It will also be a great way for you to get to know the Icon staff better. The Icon Malbis staff consists of me, Pastor Josh Sullivan, Assistant Pastor Matt Denton and our ministry assistants Garrett Hughes and Jon Jon Kelly. Also, for you guys who haven't heard, Bay is launching a Mobile Campus in the next month or so and our 'ol buddy Jordan Headley is going to be the Youth Pastor over there!
