Meet our Pastor & Staff

Pastor Jerry Taylor is the founding and Senior Pastor of Bay Community Church in Daphne and Mobile, AL and a life long resident of our area. For twenty years Pastor Jerry was a children‘s pastor and holds a special spot in his heart for children’s ministries. God has given Pastor Jerry a vision to reach the people of the community with a simple message of faith, hope and love. He has continued to deliver this unrelenting message for over twelve years with his passion for God’s word, his exceptional communication skills and ability to relate the timeless messages of the bible to the people of today.

Since Bay Community’s humble beginnings in a small warehouse with only forty eight attendees the first Sunday, the church has seen an immense increase to over 2500 in attendance per week in just twelve years. Pastor Jerry has made it his life’s work to bring the love of Jesus to the people of our community and to forever be a teacher of God’s word. Pastor Jerry Taylor lives in Daphne, AL with his wife Jerri. Together, they have three children, two daughter-in-laws, one son-in-law, 2 gorgeous grand daughters and one adorable grand son!
