Hurricane Relief
We will be making trips towards the end of this week to minister to the people of Helena, MS, near the Moss Point area. There were over 7500 people who were effected by flooding from Hurricane Isaac. Many of these people are without common everyday items and are in desperate need of help.
We will be partnering with a local ministry in that area by taking needed supplies and food over on Thursday, September 13.
Here is how you can get involved:
1. GIVE:
Below you will find a list of the materials we will be accepting. You can drop your donations off at the Malbis OR Mobile Campus Saturday, September 8 - Wednesday, September 12 by 8p.
You can also give financially towards our relief efforts by sending a check made out to Bay Community Church, designated Isaac Disaster Relief.
2. SERVE:
Sign up to make the trip with us on Thursday! We will be taking a team over on Thursday, September 13 and will need help unloading trucks, sorting clothes and items donated, and cooking. We will also need help with some manual labor such as moving furniture and possibly cutting down trees, etc. We would also like to ask, that if you have access to a pick-up truck to please bring it.
*We plan on carpooling over and will update this page with time of departure ASAP and you will be notified.
